A bird does not sing ....

This is a shot of a European Starling, taken in back 2009 December  in Edinburgh, Scotland. This species of starling is native to most of temperate Europe and western Asia. It is a highly gregarious species in autumn and winter. The European Starling is insectivorous, and typically consumes insects including caterpillars, moths, and cicadas, as well as spiders.
