World wide we are celebrating three fesitval of three different culture. In india, for all indians they are celebrating "Ganesh Chaturthi". The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated the states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and many other. Nationwide muslim are celebrating "Eid ul-Fitr", generally known as eid. Eid is an Arabic word meaning "festivity", while Fiṭr means "conclusion of the fast"; and so the holiday celebrates the conclusion of the thirty days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan. Lastly all the nepalese are celebrating "Haritalika", best known as teej. The first day of Teej is called Dar Khane Din. On this day the women, both married and unmarried, assemble at one place, in their finest attire and start dancing and singing devotional songs. Amidst all this, the grand feast takes place. The jollity often goes on till midnight, after which the 24-hour fast starts.
Wishing you everyone a wonderful Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid and Happy Teej :)
